Kanai To The Power Of Four For the duration of Season 22, Kanai’s Cube will have a fourth slot activated that can use any legendary power from a weapon, armor, or ring. This type of seasonal change is always among the best because it allows you to experiment with brand new builds thanks to having more legendary affix options available. Remember the Horadric Cube from Diablo 2? In Diablo 3, it has a successor! The Kanai's Cube is a very useful gadget that can be obtained in the new location - Ruins of Sescheron. Using this item, you can draw unique effects from a given legendary item (the orange ones) and save them in the cube.

Kanai’s Cube (the KC or Cube) was added Patch 2.3, It harkens back to the Horadric Cube of Diablo 2, giving players the ability to convert or break down legendary items and gain bonuses from their special properties. The cube is obtained from the Kanai's Throneroom located in The Elder Sanctum within the Ruins of Sescheron in Act Three. The Cube can only be found in Adventure mode. There is no long quest or list of requirements to find it. Simply talk to Zoltun Kulle in Act town and then travel to the The Ruins of Sescheron in Act 3 and find the Elder Sanctum, somewhere on that map you will find the cube. Found in the Elder Sanctum of The Ruins of Sescheron in Act Three. This cube allows players to gain an additional three legendary powers. The item can also be used to convert, breakdown and transmute Legendary Items, Crafting Materials and Gems.
Where is it found?
The Cube can only be found in Adventure mode. There is no long quest or list of requirements to find it. Simply talk to Zoltun Kulle in Act town and then travel to the The Ruins of Sescheron in Act 3 and find the Elder Sanctum, somewhere on that map you will find the cube. Once found you can easily access the cube in any of the major Act towns at anytime.
How do I get the materials to use the Cube?
Each recipe requires a certain amount of unique materials that can only be found from Horadric Caches or the Act 2 vendor Squirt the Peddler.
